Okay, pay attention now! :)

General Rules

1. No flaming of one another, or of anyone else. Flaming is when you insult or abuse another person. Treat each other with respect!

2. Please don't swear a whole lot. It is allowed, but a lot can get annoying and uncomfortable.

3. No chatspeak! Super agitating. (It's when you don't spell out the words like "sk8" meaning "skate".) Proper grammar and spelling and whatnot is required on this site, but simple things like LOL are understandable. (Of course spelling and grammar is important! It is a writing site, for crying out loud! ;))

4. Usernames cannot stretch the page or contain offensive words or swears.

5. That includes signatures and avatars! Signatures may not stretch the page. It makes reading posts a hassle.

6. No spamming or double-posting, meaning no Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages or posting twice in a row.

7. No more than one username. If we find out we will delete all your usernames and ban you, no warnings.

8. No chat topics! (Posts that have no particular subject and are used to just talk between friends.

Other

1. No put downs! How would you like it if I told you your story stank?

2. I'm very insistant on this one: constructive criticism only! It is very rude if you say something like "Your story stank. You shouldn't be allowed to write stories!" That is very mean. You would make me cry!

3. When evaluating someone's story, don't just say, "I hated it" or "It was okay". You have to explain why it was so good or it needed some improvement. "Listen, I love how you introduced the characters, but next time you should probably explain the setting more clearly. For example...." Just like that. Also, you should give the story a number out of tem. For instance, if the story rock but had grammar mistakes, you would give it something like "6/10" or whatever you think is appropriate.
